One of the great triumvirate of journalists. the other two being Dan Rather, and Tom Brokaw. He gave of himself to the world. He touched millions of folks around the world. He was there following 9-11, when the berlin wall fell down...during vietnam and respressed regret when he could not cover the death of Pope John Paul and other more current events. Peter Jennings dedicated himself to his work and that was resoundingly clear in his broadcasts. He was the only person I ever payed attention to and has been broadcasting longer since i've been alive. Peter Jennings will forever remain in my heart, in the hearts of those he touched, and in the hearts of those who knew him best, his family, friends, and colleagues.
